Agios Georgios North (Pagi)

Agios Georgios North or San George as the locals call it, is situated on the north west coast of Corfu, mid way between Paleokastritsa and San Stefanos and approximately 35 Km from Corfu Town. It is reached by travelling across the Troumpeta Pass and then down the narrow winding road through the small picturesque villages of Vatones and Pagi.
It is a quiet and unspoilt resort with only a scattering of bars and tavernas along the sea front.

The award winning beach is mainly coarse sand and stretches for 3km,which means that it never gets overcrowded.

The bay is protected by high rocky headlands covered with olive and lemon groves. There are some very spectacular walks through the surrounding countryside but make sure you have good pair of walking shoes... and also a good supply of insect repellent!!

There are several supermarkets in the resort which stock the majority of holiday requirements.
If you want to get away for a day to explore elsewhere on the island, there is a once daily bus service to Corfu town which departs from the front of the hotel at approximately 10:00am and returns to Agios Georgios at approximately 5:00pm. If you feel you would like to make your own travel plans, there are several car hire companies in the resort.
